Prop 102 passes!!!!

Proposition 102 passed! It has been wonderful over the past few months to see people of all faiths stand strong together across our state. I truly feel that we have succeeded in protecting our religious freedom.
Both California's and Florida's marriage amendments passed as well! What great victories! This will send a strong message across the country that many people still believe in the sanctity of marriage and are willing to defend it. I am grateful I have had the opportunity to support this cause!
I love what comes out of kids mouths! As Collin was climbing into the truck after school the other day the first thing that came out of his mouth was, "Mom! Don't forget to vote tomorrow cuz it's your duty!" What a great opportunity it has been the past few months to talk to and teach our kids about "Our Duty", as Collin says. to teach them about important topics that we maybe shied away from or didn't discuss in detail during Family Home Evening.

Halloween 2008

• Kasey dressed up as an angel this year and headed off to the Elmers house for a party!!!!!
• Kiley was a princess (for the 1st time in several years she wasn't something to do with Soccer... like soccer fairy, soccer angel, soccer diva etc.) good job Kiley
• Cord...what can I say He was a shower!!!! The kid is toooooo funny and came up with this all on his own and no he hasn't seen Karate Kid. So after trial and error Mike and Cord built this cool shower costume! The pictures don't do it justice all I can say was it was tooooooo funny and Cord loved the attention everyone who saw him couldn't stop laughing and that's exactly what Cord wanted! He's already planning next years costume can't wait to see what he comes up with?
• Collin was a storm trooper and it was all about the weapon that came with the costume he didn't care what he was, he just wanted a cool weapon


• We went to the church for our Wards Trunk or Treating! Kiley, Cord, and Collin went Trunk or Treating at the church and then Trick or Treating with the Elmers "Thank you Andrew for taking the kids trick or treating" they had a blast!
